This series is an addition to the Joseph P. Lash Papers. Included are incoming and outgoing personal, family, and professional correspondence; calendar, appointment and note books; research notes, articles, correspondence, and newspaper clippings relating to an autobiography, Felix Cohen, Felix Frankfurter, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Lash's books "Dealers and Dreamers" and "Eleanor and Franklin;" literary awards and honors; photographs; and sound recordings. These papers were owned and maintained by Trude W. Lash, (Lash's wife), after his death in 1987, and Trude W. Lash added personal and professional correspondence; address and appointment books; and photographs relating her and her activities.

Felix Frankfurter (November 15, 1882 – February 22, 1965) was an American lawyer, professor, and jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Frankfurter served on the Supreme Court from 1939 to 1962 and was a noted advocate of judicial restraint in the judgments of the Court.
